Dr. Heather Krebsbach grew up in the Midwest and received her B.S. in Nutrition and Public Health from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. During a six-month undergraduate sabbatical in India, she studied Ayurvedic medicine and developed a passion for alternative healing systems. After completing her undergraduate degree, Dr. Krebsbach moved to Portland, Oregon, to attend the National College of Natural Medicine. Throughout her six-year program in Naturopathic and Chinese medicine, she mentored with doctors specializing in adjunctive cancer care, women's health, HIV, and various endocrine disorders. Once Dr. Krebsbach graduated and completed her national board exams, she started a two-year Residency program with Dr. Edythe Vickers, N.D, L.Ac, at the An Hao Natural Health Clinic. Dr. Krebsbach currently attends patients in her private practice at An Hao Clinic and is fostering collaborations with allopathic practitioners to provide the most comprehensive care possible for her patients.
Dr. Krebsbach's primary specialty is woman's health, and commonly treats irregular periods, amenorrhea, PCOS, PMS, infertility, hypothyroidism, menopause symptoms. Since becoming a mother herself, she has a special interest in treating kids. Dr. Krebsbach also has interest in the treatment of various chronic diseases and pain suffered by both her male and female patients. Her experience has shown that many of these ailments can successfully be treated with Naturopathic medicine and acupuncture. She finds it personally rewarding to pass along this knowledge to her patients and to watch their quality of life improve.
In Dr. Krebsbach's spare time she enjoys cooking, hiking, and spending time outdoors with her husband, son, and dog.
