Haosheng Zhang, L.Ac.

Haosheng Zhang, a 1984 graduate of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Sichuan, China, has been practicing Chinese Medicine for 20 years. He joined the faculty-and became clinic supervisor-of the Chinese Medicine Department at the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in 1998. He relies upon a comprehensive analysis of the patient's condition, and uses acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping, herb prescriptions, and dietetics as therapies. One of his primary areas of focus is women's health; in addition, he has done considerable work with gastrointestinal disorders, pain management, neurological disorders, and autoimmune illnesses. Zhang uses Chinese herbal medicine and acupuncture to assist cancer patients with the side effects of chemotherapy and radiation, having worked extensively with breast cancer and leukemia in particular. He is also well versed in the treatment of dermatological disorders.
